Trash Talk

Sacramento, CA's Trash Talk have been absolutely blowing up the hardcore scene since their 2005 demo.  These fucked up punks play a barbaric and obnoxious blend of tough as nails hardcore with elements of thrash and powerviolence.  Some people think of Trash Talk being on the trendier side of hardcore, but all I have to say is fuck that!  That doesn't hide the fact that these guys rip it to the max with everything they've got... period!  If you haven't heard these guys by now, I feel bad for you.  Prepare for some belligerent, drugged out, pure, pissed off American Hardcore.  Their newest LP dropped this year and it's rad as hell to say the least.  Snag that along with their other rippers below.  Dig.

Tigers Jaw

These guys (and gal) play some really fun indie jams filled with emotion, and catchy melodies that will make you want to dance, chant, and sing all at the same time. Tigers Jaw have been together since '06 and have never really stopped to take a break. You can probably tell from all the releases below. This isn't their full discography, but it's a good chunk. If you want to track down all their compilation tracks and a few other releases go here for the list.

The Sidekicks

Repost! Five or six bands share the name, but The Sidekicks from Ohio is the one you need to hear. Rocky indie with a flair of country twag at times, but no too much to make you throw up in your mouth with thoughts of cowboy hats and pick-up trucks. What's really cool about these guys is their overall sound has a 90's feel to it. Just very fun and straight ahead. The Sidekicks have nothing to prove because they don't have to.

Shoxx

Here we go. If you want a weird demo that doesn't stray away from the angry punk New York is known for, snag Shoxx's debut demo CS and live set on WFUM. Shoxx is a raw ghastly creation that reeks of anger and torment. Make sure to get their live set because it has three three extra songs.

Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit is an obnoxious and crusty powerviolence outfit from Holland.  This shit is straight-to-the-point ripping violence with rapid blasts of non-stop aggression along with the classic slow breaks reminiscent to MITB, Crossed Out or Spazz. These bastards are rowdy and definitely entertaining to say the least.  Snag their two releases below and dig.

Deathrats

Deathrats was a nasty hardcore punk band from D.C. that played insanely fast and harsh jams with vicious female vocals that're plain rowdy.  Their sound is devastating and noisy as hell with minor catchy parts and fast, blaring, non-stop chaos throughout.  These guys and gal split in early 2012 but left behind two incredible EP's that you can snag below.  Dig!
