Coke Bust

Washington D.C.'s Coke Bust plays a super-fast, thrashy blend of straight-edge hardcore punk mixed with powerviolence.  These guys are fuckin' SICK!! They even share the drummer of Magrudergrind, Sick Fix & Disciples Of Christ!  Which explains why the drums are so fucking INSANE.  Technical, in-your-face circle-pit madness! Coke Bust has it all!  The way hardcore punk should sound in any generation!  Below, I posted everything I could find.  Huge thanks to oldschoolmike from onetracktohell for splitting the Obscene Extreme Fest!  It came out amazing!!  Enjoy the jamz, this shit's nutz! Especially their most recent 12" EP. Probably one of the most brutal records to come out this year. Dig.

Washington D.C.'s Sick Fix has finally dropped a masterful full length this year!  My fucking god!  Here's some raw and in-your-face female -fronted straight edge hardcore that's been thriving since 2006.  They play an obnoxious and flawless brand of hardcore punk with heavy youth crew and powerviolence influences.  Their LP is insane so snag that along with everything else below.  DIG!

Collusion

DC's Collusion is a force of thrashy and stomping American hardcore that dropped a tasty demo this year.  I can't stop cranking the band's debut for the life of me!  These guys create frantic fist-pumping jams with a nice 80's inspired feel that makes these primitive sounds instant classics. Snag their demo below and DIG!

Magrudergrind

Magrudergrind is one of the craziest, fastest, and most punishing American powerviolence bands that has ever walked this earth!  No joke!  These dudes make so much fucking noise, it's flabbergasting!  The guitar is mad thick with feedback and distortion, it almost sounds like there's a bassist playing along to his frenzied riffs!  The drummer, who also plays in Coke Bust, is a goddamn maniac, playing at speeds that seem humanly impossible.  It's crazy how both musicians make it look so fuckin' easy.  The vocalist, Avi, compliments the band's intensity with his high-pitched screams and beefy growls flawlessly.  They will in fact tear your face off and make your eardrums burst.  Below is everything Magrudergrind released.  62 Trax Of Thrash CD is a compilation of the band's earlier material from 2002-2005.  Enjoy...then Dig.

Serious Shit

"Damn right this is some serious shit.". This was my comment word for word after hearing this demo. Holy shit. Thrash crust punk with a darker progressive twist. Three dudes from Texas. That's all I got. Really hope to revisit this post again because this stuff gets different while still focusing on strong elements of thrash/crust.

Sem Hastro

Some dudes from Coke Bust and Sick Fix joined forces with a Brazilian friend of theirs for vocal duties and formed Sem Hastro in the summer of 2014.  This is some awesomely catchy, rough and stomping punk that's insanely fun.  They dropped one hell of a demo last year that needs to be heard.  Snag it below and hope for more soon.  Dig!

The Gate Crashers

The Gate Crashers were a ripping hardcore punk band from Nazareth, PA.  I couldn't find out much about these guys besides the obvious fact that they released a some solid records throughout the early-to-mid 2000's.   These guys were unrelenting and played some incredibly well crafted fastcore jams.  Their sound was straight ahead but full of attitude and meaning.  Everything about this band is kick-ass from the fast non-stop drums, sonic waves of endless riffs, tasty leads, spazzy bass lines and super-pissed off vocals.  They've sadly been broken up since their last release dropped in 2004 and members went onto play in Pissed Jeans.  Snag their discography below and dig.
