Ringers

Based out of Massachusetts, Ringers was an undeniably fun punk band that was rough, melodic and catchy as hell.  These dudes blasted out super-energetic tunes that're loaded with endless power chords, tasty guitar hooks, gruff vocal melodies and constantly driving bass and drums.  Snag everything from these punks below and dig hard!

Shut In

Milwaukee, Wisconsin's Shut In delivers pummeling d-beat hardcore that's fast, heavy and angry.  Their two releases are straight to the point and in your face without sparing a second to think.  This barrage of distorted riffs, muddled bass and constant drum beatings are topped off with guttural howls soaked in aggression.  Any fans of d-beat-influenced metallic hardcore should dig what these dudes have spit out so far.

Jungbluth

Jungbluth is a fucking amazing hardcore band from Munster, Germany. This band is made up of ex-Alpinist members and play awesomely heavy and hard-hitting music. Their message is rad and they've always been a breath of fresh air for me.  Peep their masterful new LP, it's the band's most mature material to date and shows an entirely new side of this creative output.  Shit is raaaad!  Snag everything below and DIG!

Big Mess

Big Mess hails from Lowell, MA and plays some tasty, blues-inspired instrumental stoner rock.  This trio kicks out massively heavy sounds consisting of thunderous drums, muddy bass grooves and guitar riffs galore.  This band is super creative and fun as hell with an undeniably catchy recorded output so far.  Snag their mammoth releases below and hope for more soon... if they're still active.  Dig.

Common Ignorance

Here is some thumping, degenerate hardcore punk from Houston TX's Common Ignorance.  This band is a fuzzed out mess of raw noise-punk with walls of riffs, dirty sounding bass, frantic drum work and incredibly fierce female-fronted vocals.  Their sound is insanely dirty, noisy and stripped down with massive success.  I got hooked right away so snag everything below, bang your fucking fists and dig.

Urban Blight

Urban Blight was a fierce hardcore band from Toronto.  Their material was a blast of raw, noisy and stomping hardcore that ranged from fast and thrashing to mid-tempo and mosh-friendly parts that straight-up rip.  Buzzing guitars and fuzzed-out bass consume you while you're punched in the face by thick drum beatings and seriously pissed off vocals.  These guys were rad.  Snag below and dig.

Futuro

The guitarist of B.U.S.H. contacted us with an update on what they've been up to.  The band changed their name to Futuro back in 2010 and spit out a kick-ass full length in Brazil that's along the lines of their previous thrash-punk output.  Their catchy, always-awesome thrash-skate vibes are energetic and as twangy as always with a nice noisy flair.  Futuro later gained a new female vocalist and altered their sound a little with adding some more acid-rock and noise-punk inspiration.  These jams are sick and blew me away!  Support this band, they're awesome as shit and crank their insanely good new LP!  Dig.

Sadist

Boston's Sadist constructs an unsettling brand of raw punk complete with power-electronics and layers of noise.  This stuff is intense and forceful with buzzing riffs, thumping percussion and ferocious vocal howls.  Their demo had me intrigued at first listen but their following 7" had me sold.  Snag these menacing sounds below and dig.

Snaggletooth

This trio cranks from Singapore, which is a long way from where their motor-punk style started. Not that it matters because these guys shred flawlessly. Lemmy would be proud to hear their recorded output to say the absolute least. Snag some Snaggletooth below.  Dig.

- Members are also in:  Vaarallinen, Daily Ritual, Distrust & Enam Jahanam

PUP

After their amazing debut LP, people have no choice but to pay attention to PUP. Plenty of catchy choruses, sing-along whoas, and lots of technical indie songwriting that borders on the line of progressive. Their US tour begins this month, so check them out. Also be on the look out for LP number two in the not too distant future.

For fans of:  Open Letters, Gnarwolves & RVIVR

Ampere

Needing no introduction, Western Massachusetts' Ampere has been spitting out bombastic emotional hardcore for well over a decade.  This inspirational DIY outfit rages like no other and has an undeniably loud and explosive live set consisting of 10-15 minutes of sheer intensity.  I have always loved this band and every magical release they've dropped is simply amazing.  Snag these masterful recordings of chaotic precision below, take notes and make an attempt at creating something half-as good.  Dig.
