Siberian Hell Sounds

Siberian Hell Sounds play an unrelenting concoction of grinding metal, crust and massive sludge grooves. These dudes create a non-stop sound consisting of driving riffs coated in thick distortion, deep bass rhythms and intense vocals that range from guttural and girthy to throat-destroying shrieks. These guys have been on my own personal back-burner for no damn good reason, but here you go. Snag this destructive material below and dig!

Cara Neir

Dallas, Texas' Cara Neir is a fucking blast of experimentation, aggression and energy. They're a 2-piece black-metal, grind-punk band full of sludge, crust and violence. Their sound is dark and punishing with an onslaught of face-melting riffs, unholy drum programming and harrowing shrieks. These dudes are brutal as hell and combine these elements of the extreme into perfection and the overall concoction is heavy, ripping and highly memorable. Snag their discography below and dig.

Evolved To Obliteration
Evolved To Obliteration was a blistering hardcore/powerviolence outfit from Palo Alto, California. I don't know too much about these guys other than the fact that E.T.O. featured a member of Spazz, Plutocracy & What Happens Next? and the band has dropped some rowdy releases from 1994-1997. This shit is mean as hell and full of rapid blasts of chaotic punk and crunchy breaks of sludgy powerviolence. Pissed off to the max and instantly classic. Everything this band has dropped surely owns! Everything I could find is posted below. Snag & Dig...DIG!!!

Transistor Transistor

No introduction needed, Transistor Transistor is a raw punk, post hardcore powerhouse down to the core. They formed in 2001 out of Derry, New Hampshire, then eventually relocated to Boston to spread their destructive jamz. Their earlier sound reminded me of a snotty dirty surf-punk mix, which was baddass, but then they quickly matured into a genius, progressive and heavy-as-shit songwriting style. All for the better. Every one of Transistor's songs uniquely stand out. Perfectly crafted riffage, thundering drums, driving bass all topped off with Nat Coghlan's famous grungy screams. No one could stop these guys from tearing up every show they played. Erase All Names And Likeness is a flat-out epic full length that I never thought the band would be able to top. I was quickly proven wrong after I bumped their following LP, Ruined Lives for the first time. Timeless and Unforgettable. Sadly, the band broke up after one-hell-of-a run. Easily one of my all-time favorites. If you haven't dabbled yet, you're an idiot. I posted the band's entire discography below. DIG!

Mutilation Rites

Brooklyn, New York's Mutilation Rites play a uncompromisingly heavy and unsettling brand of hard-hitting American black metal. Their massive sound captures blistering drum beatings, thick buzzing riffs, muddled bass and throat shredding vocals. This band is incredibly brutal and leaves you wanting much more to say the least. Snag everything I could find from these barbarians and dig hard!

Violent Reaction

This UK hardcore stomp-fest has continuously blown my mind and now Violent Reaction has released a brand new beast-of-an-LP that simply owns. This stripped down and mean-as-hell brand of Oi!-fused hardcore hits fucking hard with full force and never seems to get old. These guys are incredible. Snag everything below and fuck shit up. NOTE: Their Marching On LP is easily one of the best full lengths of the year, if not the decade. Dig.
