Nazti Skinz

Picture of Nazti Skinz — http://youtu.be/rNmGlqTEKC4
California's Nazti Skinz was a dirty and sloppy punk band that sounds as if they existed during the 80's hardcore movement.  This is some straight-ahead lo-fi hardcore with thrashy riffs, thumping drums, muddled bass and obnoxiously energized vocals.  Their only release was dropped on Youth Attack back in 2002 and is definitely an unheard classic to say the least.  Below, I posted the EP along with a live recording from one of only five shows.  Snag and dig.

  1. Thanks for the upload! I’m pretty sure “Criminal Crime” is either a cover of “We’re Only Gonna Die For Our Own Arrogance” by Bad Religion, or a blatant rip-off of it. The third possibility is that they just accidentally covered it because they were culling from the same pool of punk rock tropes? I like it better than the Bad Religion number, either way.

  2. Criminal Crime is actually a rip off of a Skrewdriver song. Maybe BR just really love Ian Stewart.
