I was given New Electric's self-titled EP sometime in 2006 for a gift, and I've loved it ever since. This was an earlier release by Perpetual Motion Machine (Get Rad, La Quiete, Mass Movement of the Moth). New Electric's sound is best described as instrumental, post, or noise rock. Considering all their past jazz projects, New Electric's sound is surprising if you judge them from all the members backgrounds. Shortly after this release New Electric broke up, but these four songs remain timeless in my book.
