Red Death
Red Death is a DC punk supergroup with crossover-thrash, metallic hardcore and hard rock vibes at times. After an astonishingly brutal demo, these guys dropped even more gold with a full length that's too good for words. Listen and try not to indulge in these tasty licks. I dare you. Dig.

Fissure
Here's a good dose of ferocious fastcore/powerviolence from Orange County, California's Fissure. This band is an unrelenting force of frantic guitar work, thick bass tones, spastic drum abuse and harsh vocals. These guys construct blistering chaos with absolutely no room to breathe between tracks. Snag these rippers below and dig!

Una Bèstia Incontrolable
Spain's Una Bèstia Incontrolable is incredible, period. These guys construct massive waves of psychedelic punk insanity. These deep and brooding songs are filled with experimentally odd grooves, fucked up guitars, blanketing bass tones, thumping drums and reverb-drenched vocals. This band is insanely talented and creates some amazingly original hardcore that will have you hypnotized from the very start of any track you crank. Their sound completely consumes you without a chance of slipping free. Snag their three releases below and get fucking lost. Dig

Wet Petals
Wet Petals is a really good screamo band from New York. This band is reminiscent of the screamo bands of yester-year. Passionate, chaotic, and really solid. They dropped a new EP that picks up right where their debut tape left off. Snag both releases below and dig.
Host
HOST was some raw and seriously pissed off hardcore from New Hampshire. These dudes play a dark, pummeling and mean as hell combination of metallic hardcore, d-beat and punk. This stuff is beefed up, crusty and fast as hell with non-stop energy, brutal slow parts, and harsh vocals. Since 2010 they've dropped a demo, a 7" EP, a split 7" with NH's KYOTY and finally a long-awaited LP that's fucking rowdy! Snag everything below and see for yourself. DIG!

Secret Smoker
The sound of scream-o has changed. And as a follower of the genre, I can say it has for the better. Current bands are more technical and heavier than ever (check out our Loma Prieta for a good example). But sometimes it's nice to go back. Not to the very beginning, but to a point when the genre was starting to get more progressive. Enter Secret Smoker, a band who have brought back that sound and modernized it. Their debut, Terminal Architecture dropped last year and it's nice to hear that older scream-o sound again. I could list a dozen bands below that they remind me of, but I think these three are pretty accurate. Snag the LP below and their most recent split 7" with Alarms & Controls.
