Insect Warfare

Insect Warfare is one of the craziest grindcore bands I've ever heard!  Hailing from Houston, Texas, this trio plays faster, harder and much more unrelenting than most acts out today.  They formed back in 2004 and toured the globe like madmen until their demise in 2008.  Their sound is full of constant blasts of insanity with incredibly tight transitions between the chaos and brief slower parts.  The drummer is a complete maniac on his kit with some of the fastest skills I've ever heard.  The guitar has a perfect crunchy, deep distortion to it which makes the band sound loud and full.  Vocals are especially harsh complete with low-gurgling growls and high-pitched screeches.  This band completely owns!  No doubt one of the best bands to exist in extreme music.  Below is everything the band released...I think.  Snag everything!  Dig.

Raw Meat

Raw Meat's demo cassette was released earlier this month and it fucking kills. It was self-released by the band, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's sold out already. Five tracks filled with aggressively strained vocals, fuzz-drenched guitars, and primal drumming. And when I say aggressive vocals I mean it. This guy sounds like he's strangling someone during every track. Raw Meat is filled with hate, and that's the main source this type of music should be fueled by. Download their demo and expect them to break up soon, just like 95% of the assholes who play in bands like this.

Consent

Conception Cover Art

Consent is based out of Chicago and play an extremely noisy, eerie, heavy and brutal brand of dirty punk and powerviolence.  Their sound is full of heavy thrashing riffs, thunderous drums at rapid-speeds, low, muddy bass, layers of sketchy power electronic noise & harsh vocals.  Consent is made up of ex-Socially Retarded & current Bongripper members so you know it's mean as shit!  It's somewhat Doom-y, chaotic, experimental and awesome.  Snag their Demo below.  DIG.

Deathsquad

After much hunting, ordering, and vinyl ripping, it's here. The Deathsquad discography. Not much is known about these guys besides that the 1939 7" was recorded by Will Killingsworth, and their final effort, Deathsquad 7" was an early Youth Attack release. That information is all you'll need to click the download link, but I'll go a little further and tell you that Deathsquad is beefy punk with a touch of crust, repetitive creepy riffs, annoying guitar squeals to sound cool, and stupid string-picking breakdowns. But it's a rare find, so just listen and talk shit.

Beach Fossils

Fuck waiting until it's warmer to post some awesome summertime jamz. Brooklyn's Beach Fossils is great to listen to while at the beach, cruising down the street or just relaxing on a warm day. Their music is mellow, but soothing (good for any occasion in the summer if you ask me). The twangy reverb drenched guitars fill the speakers with simple drums that make you want to bob, while distant vocals produce sounds like a psychedelic dream. Below is everything they've put out so far. Download it all and add it to your summer playlist.

COERCED

Power-violence with a twist of thrash punk, COERCED are dirty, disgusting, and fast. I heard about these guys a few years ago, and totally forgot about them until now. I think they're done, but there's practically nothing on the internet about them so I'm not sure. They might be on hiatus since members are more focused on Sneeze and The Clippers currently. Cyclical Consumption has six tracks titled, 1-6, and II has tracks titled, 12-17. I assume tracks 7-11 were supposed to be on the split with Veloz that never happened. Hopefully we'll get to hear those jamz someday, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Below is everything I could find. I think it's all their shit, but I'm not 100%. Download and feel the anger.

Disrupt

Picture of Disrupt

Formed in the late 80's, Lynn, MA's Disrupt mastered an unholy blend of crust punk and grindcore.  Deep, grimey and howling growls conduct through a dirty mixture of low, fuzzy bass lines, thrashy, crunchy guitar shredding & non-stop blasting drums that never stop.  These guys are an incredible example of grinding punk that's nuthing short of genius.  They've released Only one full length along with a shit-ton of 7" EP's, Split EP's and Compilation tracks.  Below is what I could gather from these greats.  Snag it all and Dig!  Dig Hard, Dig Deep.  Just plain DIG!

*(The Self-Titled LP was released in 2007 and contains unreleased tracks from the Sauna & Warcollapse Split sessions)
*(The Split 7" w/ Straight Edge Kegger was also released in 2007 and contains 4 exclusive live tracks)
*(I posted the Smash Divisions 7" mainly for their cover of Siege's "Cold War" which was strangely left out of their    Discography CD)
