Solid Space

In 1982 this overlooked effort was released to the world. Solid Space's Space Museum is a minimal wave gem of sci-fi inspired folk rock. A great soundtrack for winter or a long dark drive. Space Museum is pretty heavy on the synth throughout, but it gets a little more upbeat with more guitar-driven tracks in the middle of the album. These tracks give me a sort of "space funk" kind of vibe. After all, consider the time it was released. Big thanks goes out to Twinz2z for introducing us to these guys. I had a blast listening to this.

For fans of: David Bowie, The Shins, Night Sins, & Coneheads
